FUNDING FOR THOSE AT RISK OF REDUNDANCY!

The funding covers an initial careers guidance session, to assess current skills, explore future career options, and to identify and fund (or par fund) any training to help improve job prospects. There is up to £700 to cover training costs, you can top up yourself if the course costs more. (NVQs level 2 and above attract more funding).

R2R also offers a range of workshops to help develop essential skills and techniques for getting back into employment, e.g. writing a C.V., preparing for interview and job search information and methods. The workshops are designed to help candidates match and market themselves to relevant opportunities including the 'hidden market'.

The 'Response to Redundancy' (R2R) project is supported by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the East of England Development Agency (EEDA). It offers support to people whose jobs are at risk and are employed by private sector organisations located in the East of England (Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk). It also offers help to individuals who have been made redundant and are still working their notice, or on gardening leave but technically still employed.
